What we Believe

Statement of Faith

The Word of God is the written revelation of God, without error, and constitutes the complete revelation of God to mankind. The Bible consists of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the new testament.

God is the only true and living God, and exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, all equal, deserving worship and obedience.

Jesus Christ is God the Son, born of a virgin, He lived 33 and a half years on Earth, without sin, died on the cross of Calvary, was buried and resurrected the third day. He then ascended to heaven, sitting on the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and righteousness, and lives inside the believers since the day of salvation. He seals us until the day of redemption, and gives gifts to the believers to serve the Lord and one-another.

Mankind after the fall of Adam is born with a sinful nature, and is incapable of pleasing God.

Death means separation, not annihilation. So, physical death is characterized from the separation of the soul from the body (the first death). Spiritual death is characterized by the separation of the soul from God (the second death). Anyone that is only born physically experience the first and the second death, anyone who is born again (of the Spirit) experiences only physical death.

Salvation is completely from God, by grace, through faith, by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, without human works. After salvation is secure and a believer cannot loose it after being born again.

The Church as used in the Bible, has two meanings. First, it represents all born again believers from the time of Christ. Secondly, it represents assemblies of believers in various localities, i.e local churches. The local church should have born again members, and has the authority to carry out the commandments of baptism and the Lord Supper. The local church is the Biblical means to fulfill God's ministry on the Earth.

Satan is the declared enemy of God and mankind. He is the god of this present world, in the sense that he controls the current world system. He will be cast in the lake of fire for eternity.

The last days will follow the following calendar of events:

  • the next event from God is the rapture of the church, followed by
  • a period of (about) 7 years of tribulation when God pours His judgment on the Earth.
  • At the end of seven years, Jesus will physically return to the Earth to establish His kingdom for 1000 years.
  • At the end of the 1000 years is the great white throne judgment for unbelievers.
  • Finally, a new Earth, a new Heaven, and a new Jerusalem will be created where we will live in peace, love, and harmony for eternity.
